Industrial floors for a working town
Refineries, chemical plants, port terminals and the contractors who keep them running make up much of the local economy. Floors in those buildings face hydrocarbons, acids, caustics, solvents, heavy rolling loads and constant foot traffic. Bare concrete absorbs spills, wears down and becomes a safety and housekeeping problem. A well-chosen coating protects the slab, simplifies cleanup and supports a safer workplace.
Systems we install
- High-build epoxy for warehouses, shops and service bays.
- Novolac epoxy for secondary containment and aggressive chemicals.
- Urethane cement for wash-down areas, food processing and thermal shock.
- Moisture-mitigating primers for damp or new slabs.
- Polyaspartic topcoats for fast return to service.
Matching coatings to chemicals
Not all epoxies resist the same chemicals. Sulfuric acid, caustic soda, aromatic solvents and hot water each attack coatings differently. We review your safety data sheets, spill scenarios and cleaning procedures, then recommend a system with documented resistance. That approach avoids surprises when a real spill happens.
Safety and visibility
We add anti-slip aggregate where floors get wet or oily and apply painted or coated striping for forklift lanes, pedestrian walkways, hazard zones and equipment keep-outs. Lighter floor colors reflect more light, improving visibility and reducing lighting needs in large buildings.
Working around operations
Plants and terminals rarely shut down for flooring. Our crew completes safety orientations, follows site permit systems and coordinates with your supervisors. We can work nights, weekends or during turnarounds and phase large floors so production keeps moving. Fast-cure products cut downtime when every hour counts.
Preparation on industrial slabs
Industrial concrete is often contaminated with oil and chemicals or covered in old coatings. We use heavy grinders and shot blasting to reach sound concrete, degrease and treat contaminated areas and repair spalls and joints. Moisture testing guides primer selection, especially on slabs near the water table.
Beyond the plants
We also coat floors in auto shops, fleet garages, marine repair yards, restaurants, clinics, schools, churches, gyms, retail stores and storage facilities. Each space has different needs for traction, cleaning and appearance, and we tailor the system to match.
Maintenance support
Coated floors work well with auto-scrubbers and standard cleaning equipment. We recommend cleaners and pads that keep the finish looking good and can provide a maintenance plan that includes periodic topcoat refreshes in high-wear zones.
Planning and budgeting
We provide detailed written proposals with system specifications, square footage, schedule and phasing options. Itemized pricing makes it easier to get approvals and compare scope.
Request a site walk
Tell us about the building, the chemicals involved and your schedule constraints. We will walk the site, test the slab and recommend a coating plan that fits your operation.
Control rooms and labs
Control buildings, quality labs and instrument shops need floors that are clean, static-aware and easy to maintain. We install smooth epoxy systems with coved bases that keep dust and spills out of corners, and we can specify static-dissipative coatings where sensitive electronics are present. These rooms often have tight access windows, so we plan the work carefully and coordinate with operations staff.
Loading docks and ramps
Dock areas take impact from pallet jacks, forklifts and rain blowing in through open doors. We add broadcast aggregate for traction and use tougher topcoats at transitions where wear concentrates.
Every proposal includes product data sheets so your safety and engineering teams can review the system before approval.
